My Story
My name is Jodian McGhie-Thorpe
My journey in education and my upbringing have shaped me into someone who is passionate about children's development, growth, and education. From a young age, I had a thirst for knowledge and a drive to excel academically. This led me to attend high school at the age of 10 and graduate college with an associate's degree by the time I was 17. During my childhood summers, I had the opportunity to teach at a summer camp for children aged 5 and up. This experience further deepened my love for working with children and helping them learn and grow. Seeing the joy and excitement on their faces when they discovered something new was truly rewarding.
Although my career background is in Construction Project Management and Accounting, I always harbored a dream to open my own preschool. I wanted to create a nurturing environment where children could explore their interests, foster their curiosity, and develop a lifelong love for learning. So, I decided to pursue my passion and make my dream a reality.
As a parent of two children myself, I know firsthand the importance of providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for their growth and development. My husband and I love going on new adventures with them, exploring new ideas, and giving them the proper tools and resources to succeed. Education is always the number one focus in our household, and I am dedicated to ensuring that they have the best possible start in their educational journey.
I am truly passionate about supporting children's development, growth, and education. I believe that every child has unique talents and potential waiting to be discovered and nurtured. By opening a preschool, I hope to create an environment where children can thrive, where their natural curiosity is encouraged, and where they can develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life. I am excited to embark on this new chapter and make a positive impact on the lives of young children. I am committed to providing a quality education and a nurturing environment that supports their holistic development.
